Günün en hızlı derecesi ise Mclaren’in dünya şampiyonu Button’dan geldi. Button 1:18.871’lik derecesiyle 2010 Jerez testlerinin en hızlı zamanını da geliştirmiş oldu.
Renault’dan Kubica’da Button’dan önce bu dereceyi geliştiren pilottu. Kobayashi’de günün etkileyici isimlerindendi. Çaylak pilot uzun sürüşlerde 1.19 ve 1.20 derecelerde tutunabildi.
Rosberg nispeten kısa sürüşler gerçekleştirdi. Alonso da bu tarz çalışmaların yanı sıra gün sonunda uzun ve istikrarlı bir sürüş yaptı. Webber de sabah ve gün sonunda uzun sürüş yaptı. Aynı zamanda yağ sızıntısı sorunu nedeniyle değerli zamanlar kaybetti. Hulkenberg’de gün boyunca uzun sürüşler üzerinde çalıştı.
Luizzi kısa sürüşlere odaklanırken Alguersuari kısa sürüşlerin yanı sıra uzun sürüşlerde yaptı. Lotusda hem kısa hem gün sonunda uzun bir sürüş yaptı. Takım hedeflediği 140 tura ulaştı. Virgin’de ise değişen bir şey olmadı yine günü az turla tamamlamak zorunda kaldılar.
